After the matches in Los Angeles, the top mentions of the C.F.A. in social media revolved around the female division. When Jamilla secured her spot as the number one contender for the Femme Fatale Championship, Thema confronted her in the ring and waved the championship belt in her face. Fans questioned the exact dialogue between to the competitors, but everyone knew the tone wasn't friendly. Fast forward two weeks later and Thema's words still burned through Jamilla's mind. It wasn't just the fact that she tried to body shame her. The arrogance, attitude and general rudeness of her next opponent all rubbed her brain raw. When they finally stepped foot into the ring, Jamilla wanted to make sure that the champ realized that she had set foot in the ring with someone who would not be taken lightly.

That dialogue was important for me because it really was to show the type of character Thema is. Not only is she arrogant, but she is just a mean lioness. She's been blessed with looks and talent that have made her very fortunate in her life but she's gotten to the point to where she legitimately feels she is better than anyone else and deserves these things. If someone doesn't fit her ideal profile, she attacks it and belittles them to make herself feel superior
