This was supposed to be ready for Valentine's Day, but I could not finish it on time .. Anyway
I went back to see this movie, Bagi the monster of mighty nature by Osamu Tezuka. The first time I saw it was .. special for me,
I am fully aware that the movie is not very good and in fact has a lot of errors, so I was afraid that seeing it now, years later and much more mature, the same I would not like it
But I'm glad to know that I still loved this movie and its characters (especially Bagi, I have a very special affection for Bagi) Like the first time I saw it ... That is called true love, I suppose.

But anyway, I think that everyone who has seen this film completely,
will have wanted to see Bagi and Ryu happy together forever and ever, so ...

Seen the movie. Yeah not one of the best and flawed, but still not too terrible of a movie either.
Also agree that the ending is really sad/tragic and personally I don't think they deserved that, then again sometimes the Japanese seem to "like" making stories with sad/tragic endings...

Yes, the end is melancholic and not at all the one we all expected or wanted, but if you think about it, it is a good ending for Bagi, after all, she could never adapt to the world of humans and with her anthropomorphic form neither to the world of animal ... In the end, she completely turned into an animal and escaping to nature, she could finally live in peace.
But obviously, I would have liked it to preserve its human characteristics and to have escaped with Ryo to a place where nobody bothers them.
