I really like the implication. Brothelworkers make it a point to never kiss customers unless they ask for it, and usually its only business. Amon has been one for much of his life, so he probably has difficulty trusting any of them, given how abusive they can be. And now he kisses Luther without being asked, just out of affection and gratitude. So perhaps he now sees Luther as more than just a patron. Makes me heart melt.
Luther has shown he genuinely cares about Amon's safety. Unlike most other patrons, Luther treats Amon as an actual living being with fears, worries, and goals of his own. It's a pretty great positive change for Amon. At least when he's around Luther, he isn't just a slave prostitute. It's really gotta be rejuvenating for Amon that Luther views him as such and not just someone to use to get his rocks off.
