Just something I doodled today... (sorry, still not up to bothering much with lining things :S) wanted something to post with Ari's more subdued palette... (I have another one, but didn't feel like posting it with just a white background ^^;) and this was supposed to be a feral more draconic form, but it obviously didn't turn out that way, I don't know what it turned out o_o;
The purple and rose iridescent fur to represent the twilight sky, the large indigo/turquoise plate scales to represent flowing water and the smaller orange/green scales for autumn leaves...
And I had no idea on background when I started this, but the sunset today was so beautiful so I tried to capture what I saw ^^

Yeah, it was sad to me, some of the people I had commissioned, taking my commission and telling me her colors wouldn't be a problem, then doing a shoty job and complaining about it right on their page of the submission :< So this will hopefully prevent that in the future...

It kills me now the more I look at it, her head is terribly misshapen but I was trying a different angle and of course I only notice this After I post it :S I know... maybe her draconic form is more eastern.... XD ...*shakes head* oh well, learning curve for next time :3

I wish I saw the same sky you did. It was cloudy that day for me. D: Sadness. Hm, so Ari's other color pallette. I like this one. Your really keeping away from hir wings being that aubrun color. Even if it didn't have a background. I like how you molded it in. Especially sitting on the cloud. x3
