Alternate to this picture, just with Delta and Borusa swapped... just say it's an alternate timeline. It happens all of the time in science fiction.
Fun Fact: Dr. Plethorick is basically the Medic from Team Fortress 2, but as your generic big-eyed gray alien, and it's exactly how I imagined him looking when I made the character for the story version of the last Fat Space-Kobold series, just haven't drawn him until now.
