Holy crap it's finally done.
This is hands down the biggest project I've ever done, and the longest I've worked on a single piece. I took this commission back in October and have been working on it more or less constantly since then. Huge thank you to everyone who made it happen, and there were a lot of you!

This is absolutely amazing Sparta. I love the two distinctly different atmosphere as the time flow from past to present. The emotion is so strong in this piece and really well capture. I love the high amount the detail that you have captured. I just love the textures and the lighting that you've painted. I'm just at a lost for the rest of the words that I know that I should be typing here. I believe that this illustration really brings that song to life.
I have a weakness for story songs/ballads -- what an amazing collaboration between the music and this piece!
Definitely captures the atmosphere and progression of the story -- I'm really blown away at all the detail -- listening to the song while looking at the place, I was able to pick out even more! The work you've put in really shows and you should be proud!
