That's why big sisters are the best. Thank you so much for posting this and I'm so glad you like it! I've been meaning to get art of Emer and Rebecca together for the longest time, and this seemed like the perfect excuse. With any luck they'll get to hang out together again very soon, and in a setting that is more comfortable for both of them. In the meantime, well, I'm sure Emer is very grateful for her sister's efforts to cheer her up, as well as having a kindred spirit to hang out with for the duration of the dreaded gala.
Aw, that's cute. Emer's lucky to have a big sister who cares about her like that, and who is willing to take the time to make her feel better. They're both such lovely young ladies, too, and they do look awfully cute in those outfits. However much Emer might hate the dress, it does look very elegant on her.
I can certainly sympathize with that feeling of being a bit, um, exposed in a dress. That's part of why I haven't worn one since I was about her age, either. It kinda helps that not only does my girl like me in a suit and tie, you can see it boggling people's brains from fifty paces. But that's neither here nor there. Whatever sparked it, it's always nice to see moments of tender sisterly affection like this. It's something the world needs so much more of.
