Mostly inspired by  licorice. She's to blame for getting me hooked on playing pokemon again and sub sequentially my creation of this little guy. His name is Charcoal, a fun-loving Mightyena who spends most of his time slacking off and goofing around rather than fighting. He does it when he has to, and he can hold his own pretty well but by no means is he a prize fighter or anything; it's more due to a lackadaisical attitude towards training and fighting in general, his thoughts being that when people are getting hurt, they're not having any fun (unless they're masochistic). He's been known to forfeit fights for no other reason than wanting to do something else he found more entertaining.

Despite being a dark type and having an edge over them in combat, Ghost types creep him out to the extent of paralysis and he often loses to them...or wins by a very thin margin. Bug types have a similar effect on him...he gets horribly ill when he happens to be around bug types, followed by tremors. He'll spend most of the fight with bug types running away from then to ensure that they don't get near enough to touch him.

He likes eating sweets, sleeping, gazing listlessly off into space, reading, playing video games, snuggling, listening to metal and happy trance at nigh-obscene volumes, and DANCING HARD TECHNO!! ...Oh, and generally being a lazy mother-fucker
