Find a field, a large park, some large open area a decent distance away from your house, and let it loose. When I catch live mice that our youngest cat doesn't kill, I bring them to the far edge of our property and let them loose over the fence.

Let him go - he's a wild mouse, he belongs in the wild. Besides, he probably needs water and being kept in a bag and bright photos snapped of it put it under stress. And as someone said on an earlier photo, wild animals do carry mites and other diseases. Best let him return to whatever mousey friends he may have.

I already knew I'd be letting him go. but I wasn't sure as to where... But he can't go back to his friends. They make my room stink horribly.

Nope. o.O no holes in the bag that lead out of it. I investigated cause I wanted to know why it took ALL night to get out...... lol. he just... poofed!
