Now I'm probably not the most hyped dude in the world about it, rebellion on my shoulder clear as day, but it is a pretty significant moment in airplane simulation. While the Hornet will forever remain my husbando, no other airframe has inspired so many people and is instantly recognizable to the average punter. It is not only an American icon, but an aviation icon and now those kids who grew up watching Top Gun will be able to have a taste of the Tomcat.
