I really dig the concept! Host has to deal with this really clingy alternate style they never asked for. Any idea what the slime gains from the relationship?

Well they can feel whatever hosts is feeling get to be carried far from their natural habitat and get to merge with host if not paying attention

Oh dang. Feeding off the emotions of their host and getting in some world travel make for some interesting perks. Like it's ingrained in them to seek out that stimuli that they only find by sneaking onto someone. I also enjoy the idea that it may not be perfect, and the host's transplanted features remain slimy and weird. Imagine an uppity slime that has some sort of disagreement with whatever their host is feeling or doing, and suddenly they got this contorting two-face scenario going on, ha.
