A family of mixed unicorns from my primary MLP AU focused on vampire ponies. It's a 'snapshot' of their happy family shortly before tragedy stuck and ripped the father away from his wife and son.
Sonar Pulse is the red roan bat-unicorn pony and (as of this image) future vampire pony who works for the Diarchy. The palomino mare is his wife, a composer and lyricist, Morning Song; and the foal is their son, Dawning Justice, a future vampony hunter.
Their story is a bittersweet one, and I love them so much. ;w; I never expected to love them as much as I do, given that I designed Sonar on a What-If Whim, and Justice the year right afterward on another What-If Whim. Morning Song followed the year after, after both characters were talking about her and I learned she was very much still alive. They've become one of my favorite groups of pony characters~ <3
