The frontier outpost of Kir Deshan is located on one of the largest lakes in the northern territories of Caprisis. Due to its remote location and little in the way of any resources, it is largely ignored by the Empire. This makes it a prime pirate and smuggler haven, often visited by Aleutian Dex's Repulse. This also shows one of the features of these flying ships, the ability to float and operate on water like normal vessels.
