Where is our hero secluded in?
It looks like he reckognizes the creatures trapped in this ice, but even that pays no matter when a rubbery creature presents in front of him.
A creature that claims to be 02. Something very similar to what his foe wildfire, now 01, looked like.
Ignoring his warning to stay its ground, the drone approaches our hero, apparently weak and hungry.
But Frostbite had enough of those creatures. Now he knows how dangerous they are.

I made many versions of this page and none seemed to click to me. Finally this... i was fine with this one.
Now i left a lot to think about in this page, not only the Where is frostbite.
A rubber hug for whoever guesses right!

in this time the nightmares come forth and bring down the dreams of shattered past. we all know now that the end is coming for one figure. the figure of the hero remains in the next coming times, nothing more to nothing remained. the mask has finally come off for him in the loss of this world. but was the mask what he wishes to fight back, or has he finally come to its full circle of what his reality has become

Another lovely page by a wonderful artist and creative writer. You really keep us on the edge of our seat wondering what will happen next. Even how things will unfold for all of our favorite characters. We wondered how he would hold up and how he would bond with the symbiote. We are seeing just a tiny bit of that now. Although there is much to unfold yet before us. I do so always look forward to each of these wonderful pages. Just can't get enough of the wonderful art and story. These characters, this world and the story have captured my heart so much. I adore all you have done with this. Thanks for the hard work and dedication it is very much appreciated. You are so awesome and never worry about when the pages come out we are all here for the long haul...and each page when it comes is like opening a present at a surprise party while it being something you always wanted every time. *HUGS*

I wonder whether that it’s due to the lack of bonding or incomplete bonding (maybe 02 only picked up on Frostbite’s emotional disposition). 🤔
And Frostbite is about to experience again what it’s like hitting a drone. Supposedly. I think this is all going on inside Frostbite’s head.

well, think of it this way.
Usually they get injected, the drone starts replicating inside the host.
But this one, as he got injected he had to use all his small resources to stop the head injury, so it has barely formed enought energy now.
keep in mind the bear has been unconcious for 2 days now, so thats how long it took it to heal the injury and replicate.

So it appears that my theory was correct. I look forward to seeing where this goes. Still, I wonder, though. If he's there in his mental scape an those figures are frozen, that may not necessarily mean that they're defeated.
It could symbolize the fact that he wasn't willing to properly confront the pain and loss associated with those betrayals and events, but decided to put them on ice, instead.
It appears that the symbiote has been searching for Frostbite for some time now, based on its talk. Understandable, given the nature of the brain trauma it's had to navigate and repair. But now that it's finally found Frostbite, what will happen? Will it help him to navigate his own trauma and overcome it to be a proper person again? Or will it do more? Will Frostbite resist? And if so, how can he in his mind?
And what of 01's brother? The mindscape is his domain. He might be able to help 01 and Frostbite (possibly soon to be 02) to break free of conditioning and get past their traumas to be heroes again.
I still wish that Frostbite could see what really happened, and why he was sabotaged like that in his test. Hopefully after he's integrated, 01 will be able to show it to him through a symbiotic link. I suppose only time will tell, and only time will reveal the truth. That being said, that trainer had better get what's coming to him. I want him to pay for his manipulation. He deliberately tortured and manipulated vulnerable psyches for his own twisted ends, and that's not right.
Frankly, I'm surprised Wildfire's brother hadn't stumbled over that fact and taken measures to stop it, given the nature of his powers and how he can see a person's true intent through their mental landscape.
Did I manage to cover things well? Do I get the promised rubber hugs?
