The uniform mainly consists of a DPD vest and android undershirt, but has more android-identification than before, for example two armbands, the larger serial number and lack of name. There is also a large triangle across the back, and the serial number is underneath. Androids are not required to wear LEDs, but are required to show an android triangle on their forehead for easy identification.

After the failure of the uprising, Detroit is seeing a large increase in android-related crimes, skyrocketing the death-by-machine rate. Despite their objections, the DPD is forced to resume assistance from RK800, as well as the new addition RK900, to help remind the android population that humans are still in charge.
