This is the beachside on a planet called "Parp" belonging to the Emperor and uses to travel to for vacation every year. Being on friendly terms with the Emperor, Litola, Oratorio and the others for years, Von is being invited along.
Von and Oratorio have been playing around with the highspeed-boat, and since Oratorio seemingly enjoyed the boat and its controls, he invites Von to anotehr ride the next day. Von though seems to be a bit anxious though about his sunburn...

After Odin's gruesome eating habits, I think something cute and innocent was called for - and Von usually fits that category.^^
