FOR THE UNINFORMED, this is Xaph. Shi's a dragon/hare (*cough* or a Zafara, if I'm still on neopets). Shi's a magic, kinda surly, old, witty hedonist, but damn if the ladies don't love hir.

Was trying out some new techniques, finer lineart and different coloring. Overall I'm okay with the results, but I liked the piece more just as lineart. Oh well. I also hate the BG and feel it detracts from the piece, but others disagree, C'EST LA VIE

Hey Yoshii! I friggin love the way your artwork is rounding out and becoming so totally professional looking! I don't think the background distracts at all from the character, if anything adding a very magical feel to the piece. You're so talented and imaginative.. keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with!
