In early May of 1989, peace talks between the two major powers culminated in a cultural exchange youth programme to blunt the effects of the hate propaganda each nation had developed in opposition to the other. Here we see a rare colorized photo of that momentous program; depicted are two individuals wearing each-other's traditional outfits and, might I say, looking totally fresh. Note the veiled disdain in the dog on the left's eye that says, "If you hold my hand for one second longer than this photo requires I will personally de-bean your paws".
