The Titanic had a covering over the side promenade deck to prevent splashing water that seemed to bother the passengers of the Olympic. I may be able to get you the pic you want. I also have a rare pic of the two of them together that some say was never in existance (i'm a Titanic Freak)
This pic is of the first ship in the trio of liners built for the White Star Line by Harland & Wolff. This is the lucky one, the OLYMPIC. The TITANIC, and her very modified sister, BRITTANIC, (was going to be called GIGANTIC, but after the disaster, it seemed in bad taste) had short lives. We all know about TITANIC. The BRITTANIC was used as a hospital ship during World War I... and sank on her 6th voyage in Nov. 1916 by a mine in the Mediterranean. She never carried passengers, having been launched 6 months before the start of the war. OLYMPIC is the only one easily identified by the open promenade deck. The TITANIC and BRITTANIC had the forward section enclosed.
