Well, as these things always go with me I spent more money then I intended but it's some really nice wood. I also picked up 2 nice blades for my table saw. Now I need to upgrade my POS table saw lol
From left to right
1 piece Quilted maple
1 piece Zebra wood
4 pieces Bocote, kind of rare wood from Central America.
And in the back is a nice piece of walnut
The wood on the bottom is cedar. Nothing too special about that.

My brother used to live in Belize and I would bring pieces of exotic hardwoods back home. Bocote, Ziricote, Chchen Negro, many others. I used to go to the lumber mills and pick up end pieces that were about two inches square and maybe a foot or so long for free. Once I carried a gym bag with about a hundred pounds of wood in it back.
