He was a nobody on a small pirate crew. He has participated in some bad things, but more did so because he would be killed if he didn’t. He did not love the pirate’s life. One day when his crew was raiding a merchant vessel, he turned on his crew and helped save the passengers. For this he was granted passage to a far-off harbor and let off into the city with some money as thanks for his help. He is now trying to figure out life outside of piracy. One passenger on the vessel was a wizard who removed his tattoos and scars as to be less identifiable to any remainders of his former crew.
