Cassandra has gotten into a fair few scrapes, as documented on here. But sometimes, even as a blind rat, she really should be able to see these things coming. When your buzzed goat friend Cae bets against you on whether she can eat you, you'd figure she knows something, right? Now look at where she ended up: packed away in a slimy secret compartment, simmering in Pabst Blue Ribbon, wishing she knew where to kick to really annoy her pal.

But it could be worse. She's warm, after all. And Caelona isn't the type to digest her friends for failing a bet, she'll let the rat out again... so long as Cass gets rubbing with a quickness, at least. And if it's cold outside, maybe she can stay in a little longer, just to keep from shivering. There's a hug from every direction at once, the background noise is hella soothing, and it's not like she has anywhere to be but inside her buddy.

It really could be worse.
