Looks like I won't be going. I waited too late and now nothing is available (dealer tables, art show space and rooms). I thought about trying for 2008 but I think AC and MFF are enough.

Well, Art Show space may still be available...you just have to send in an application and be on the waiting list. I actually might have space for a fursuit due to the nature of the piece (no need for a panel) and did apply for a panel. I'm sure someone would be willing to help you find places to hang art. There's always artist alley too. As for rooms...well, you have but to ask. Siege and I are still looking for roomies, and I doubt we'd say no to you...

Otherwise, I certainly understand. We'll see you at AC if we make it, which I hope to.

I'm not 100% sure we'll go, but it is the plan. I'd very much like to drive around this summer. Of course that means having my dogs with me I'm sure...but hey, life is about adventures, right?

I didn't have a table last year but when I got there they had several cancelations and I was able to get one. You should go and then go to the dealer den and ask them if there are any cancelations. Its a shot any how. it worked for me. Hope that helps

I think I am pretty much finished with dealer tables. If I have anything to sell I can usually just host it at the FurPlanet table. That way I can enjoy the rest of the con without being tied down... Although THAT could be fun too ;)

Funny you should ask. Very fiew of my pics have used any "direct" poses from live subjects or photos. This pic however was derived from a photo of myself lying on the floor in a simmilar pose, to simulate posing on a table or bench. I snapped a couple of dozen low-res photos of different positions i thought would be appropriate for Rex posing on a table holding cards, and one photo was simmilar to this pose. I basically looked at the photo and drew sketches in a simmilar pose position and made adjustments until it looked OK as a table pose at that angle. :)

Okay!.. So, when do we get to see those pics!? ;)

*chuckles* ... I had clothes on when i snapped the photos with the camera timer on a mini tripod. :P

Clothes On!?... Damn! If I had your figure I would be doing my own modeleing in the nude. Well if I evern need a chubby bear pose I will do well. :)

*smiles* I did discover though its easer to to strike a pose for your own artworks than it is to get somone else to do it. I guess its a matter of having the pose in your mind already for a drawing which makes it easier.

Okay, I know you have a clothed and fuly nude version but do you have one with just the vest, or better yet with his shorts around his ankles? I don't think you have ever done that yet with your pics although we had talked about that for your baseball pic.

The piece is amazing. You have succeeded in portraying an incredible image there. The details are wonderful, the pose is awesome, and the whole thing just really comes together perfectly.

To be honest, it portrays those aspects of me perfectly. The hat, which I understand you drew from only a description, is dead-on. The setup, the room, everything. The expression on my muzzle is perfect.

Glad the pic worked out to be close to your caracter as you see him. Hope to meet you in person someday aswell. The conventions i plan on attending in 2007 are Anthrocon, Anthrofest, and possible MFF in November if i have any holidays left. Anthrocon & anthrofest is a set date so far. :)

I am going to try to attend AC, but probably only if we drive. It's in the summer, which I'm taking off, so we should be able to.

I was there last year, but sadly missed seeing you. I didn't spend much time in the dealers den, except in fursuit.
