I dug this. The vocals sound... ethereal? (Probably not the best word I'm trying to think of, but my mind isn't cooperating at the moment, so it'll do for now, lol.) The less crunchy bass riffs do sounds like something John Paul Jones might have done. Also, for some reason the steady-note synth towards the end slightly reminds me of Gary Neuman's "Cars".

Heh......... It takes me forever to do vocals and be satisfied with them. I just hate listening to my own voice. There are so many people out there with WAY BETTER voices for singing. My skill is harmonies.

I'm really glad you like the music. Can't wait to start producing more. Me and a couple other music furs are trying desperately to finish our CD. The problem is, we live in three different states. :P Long range bands seldom find the time to get together. :P

I'll be uploading 2 more songs next week, when my iMAC arrives. One is the final solo tune I wrote, called "Shy Away". The other is the first tune finished by the furry band. It's called "Welcome (The Furry Forest Theme)". The original version that I recorded alone in on my FMF (Furry Music Foundation) site. But I'm not sure if the site is running. It tends to go off line a lot.

Anyways, we, 'The Paw Offs' *the band's name :P* re-recorded it a little faster and tighter with me singing the main vocal and back grounds, and the guitarist singing the main chorus vocal. Why does this remind me of REM? Sounds like something maybe from Monster with clear vocals... except not :-\ I dunno why I end up compairing you to other bands, I just do. The only real thing you need to know is that I love it :D

You vocals are great! I know what you mean when you say you don't like your own vocals... very few people I know do, myself included. I hate my voice :3 but yours is great.

Punk version????? The only song that I have 2 versions of is "Welcome". I did a version on my own then re-recorded it with a couple of other furry musicians, which was a little more punky. That song is uploaded here. >"^_^"<
