Here's an overview of my PowerBook G4 laptop from 2005, model number A1106. This is one of the very last PowerBooks ever made before Apple introduced their first Intel machines later in 2005. Oddly enough, this particular PowerBook shares the same form factor as the very first MacBook Pro, right down to the ambient light sensors, back-lit keyboard, and Sudden Motion Sensor, which was designed to prevent hard drive damage by retracting the read/write armature when, for instance, the computer falls off of a table or desk.
