There's this thing in Fighting Dreamers called "Respawns" or a cat losing a life if they die a specific way in a universe, and they get to see an echo of themselves in a weird void before waking up again

I would say that those eyes aren't normal but cats generally don't remember their time in this void so maybe it is normal
