One can't wander for long in the Oasis of Stone without seeing the only trees for miles around. They lean far over the water's edge and provide some small cover from the sun which could tempt many a desert wanderer. The children of the village however, always keep in mind the stories of the siren's song when passing, and remember to cover their eyes when they pass the foliage... Or else they might just join the other statues in their vigil.
