I'll Never Find Another You (Ukelele, Vocals, WALL OF SOUND)
After I recorded this, I decided to go full Phil Spector on this, and spent two hours on overdubs.
There's seven vocal tracks, one of which is pitch-shifted... and four ukelele tracks, the regular one, a lead ukelele part, a rhythm ukelele part down an octave and a bass ukelele part down two octaves.
The goal is for this to sound like what Brian Wilson called the Wave of Love. I love sound that immerses you in words you can never see to the bottom of, where softness hits.
Original song by the Seekers, written by Tom Springfield, published by EMI and Capitol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmactMIhrRM
I have listened to this song for hours on repeat in bad moods. It's a lifter. Some songs are just like that. Maybe I should do "Be My Baby" next.

Oh man, thanks. One of my favorite music "aesthetics" is bands like Mudhoney where it sounds like they're playing the same song but the instruments don't listen to each other, they just all walk at their own speed.
It's homely, yeah, but it also sounds... human. Thanks so much!
