Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i’m golwg sy’n hardd. I do like a national anthem which comes with reference to the scenery! ^__^
Though the weather here has taken a drastic turn toward spring, there are a couple more snowy pictures of the Upper Afan Valley I wanted to share with you This snap was taken looking east towards my home village, with the village of Abercregan off to the left there. You may be able to pick out the box bridge that I have shown in previous pictures. Beyond Cymmer are the farms above the towns ending in the Gwynfi, before we arrive at the hill at the head of the valley, known locally as ‘The Bwlch’. I’m afraid that I don’t quite know why, but beyond that is the Rhondda valley and the village of Treorchy.
Hope you enjoy!
