This is a redraw of a piece that I was super proud of 2 years ago! When I first wanted to draw this picture 2 years ago I always envisioned this sort of street background; but I wasn't capable of making a background of that difficulty at that point in time. I am so proud to say that I have finally been able to reach this point in my art journey.
It's always great to revisit old artworks of yours that you were proud of at the time. It really helps to motivate you, and you can actually see progress in your artwork/style when it might have been difficult otherwise. Sometimes we like to tell ourselves that we aren't improving/will never improve, but that's simply not the case when you keep drawing what inspires you!
I strongly encourage these types of redraws! They can make you get out of your comfort zone, and it allows you to see all you improvements!
