Sheesh! at least if he was cut he could get paid off time, this just means that his working time will slowly be wittled down. This is like worse then a knife XD

I'm sure they'll find something for him to do. Autamation is supposed to increase productivity, if you're laying people off you're doing it wrong.

Yeah, part of my job is making it easier for my co-workers by automating things. We have plenty of stuff to do.

Software or manufacturing?

E-commerce. We sell on various websites including our own. If a repetitive or mundane task like inventory management can be automated, I've saved my co-workers tons of hours by automating it. I also do the website coding and product descriptions.
I portray my workplace in the comic fairly accurately, except I have the comic workplace sell ferret-focused things so I'm not telling people where I work. Squeaky toys are more interesting anyway.

I can do industrial automation. When I was looking for work in Seattle I had trouble because there's so much software automation going on. Made it difficult to find my side of things.
