Sam sighed as he sat down on the barstool. Today had been awful, and all he wanted to do was now just have a drink and relax, then head home once he felt better. He called the barkeeper over and was about to place his order when he gasped in pain. A bat had just landed on his right shoulder, and he could feel its claws digging into his skin, even though he had very thick skin and a lot of hair. He suddenly yelped as he felt the bat bite down, the incredibly sharp fangs piercing his skin easily.

Several hours later, the burly human found himself on the way home from the bar, but he felt rather light headed. He just assumed it was because he had drunk so much alcohol. However, what he also failed to notice was the hair on his left arm, which was once a nice brownish white had now turned into a black patch. It seemed that the bat bite was going to be more than a simple itch. “Damn, What’s wrong with me?” He sighed and carried on walking, thinking nothing of it as walked down the street, eager to get home.

His fingers began to grow as the transformation began to speed up, his large hands soon giving way to long, claw like fingers as his arm continued to change to become more and more bat like. “Oooh!” Sam grinned as he noticed all the changes that had occurred to his arm thus far. “This is really exciting! I wonder when I will get my wings?” His question was partially answered as he saw a large wing begin to form on his arm, and his face lit up like the cat that got the cream. He was so excited about this.

The transform was only getting started, as his small ears began to grow in size. He was loving every second of this and he sighed, before groaning a bit in pain. As his ears altered, they became more sensitive, as bats rely on echolocation to find where they are going, so he had to cover them as he grew used to the altered pitches. However, his hands had began to near completion, so they were of little help. However, the sound so stabilised, and he smirked as he ran his clawed hands over his large ears. It felt so incredible.

His nose and teeth were next to change, as they began to slowly change from human to bat. His teeth began to shrink down until they were nothing more but small fangs that were an echo of the ones that had bitten him on the shoulder at the bar. He just laughed as his nose continued to shrink, going from large and powerful to very small and rather flat. He was going to say something, but he was still in awe of how fast he was changing. He groaned as he felt his newly altered teeth and nose settle down.

The next things were to change were his rear and his feet. What was interesting about this was that instead of shrinking down like everything else had on him, his ass began to change, much to his confusion and delight. His feet began to take an appearance like his hands, as they shrank down and became much bonier like, claws emerging in place of soft toes. He simply laughed, as he felt the transformation continue. Not twenty minutes, he had been a full human, and he was halfway between the two species, and he was loving it! “This feels good!”

It was then that his impressive height began to shrink as he felt his large and muscular legs begin to change as they shrank down, and he watched as everything grew faster and faster as his legs became less human like, and much more bat like, becoming bonier and skinnier as the transformation sped up. His eyes then began to alter from being simple blue orbs to filling up with brown, and then having a simple iris in the middle, making for a very sharp contrast to what they were before. By this stage, the rapid transformation was almost finished.

His mouth then began to push out as the wings on his arms finished forming, causing him to groan in delight. Who knew that species transformation would be this much fun? Sam breathed a sigh of relief as he felt his mouth continue to push outwards, becoming more bat like by the second. It seemed that the transformation was continuing to speed up, as there must have been something that the bat must’ve injected into his bloodstream when he bit him on the shoulder. “Ahhh.” He groaned out, sighing as he felt his tail finish altering into its final state.

His entire body then began to shrink, as he currently looked like some giant batzilla. He groaned and panted as he saw the world get larger and larger as he continued to shrink down to his final size. His height gradually decreased, as if the transformation itself was teasing him now. Everything had happened so fast, and now that he was at the end of it all, it seemed that it was taking forever! “Come on, hurry up! You can’t do this to me now! Not after how fast you’ve done all of this!” He hissed, feeling very very frustrated.

At last, the transformation was complete and in place of a large burly, blue eyed human was now a small bat that looked around with glee in its eyes. Sam was still in shock. Despite everything that happened, today was one of the best days of his life. He sniffed the air, before catching the scent of blood somewhere. before taking to the sky. It took all his effort not to fall out of the sky, once he saw just how amazing everything was from the sky. He smirked and looked around, taking in everything below. Finally, he was free.
