What I like about this joke is how you really pushed the 'fighting type evolution' fear to the point of absurdity with the final evolutions having redundant Fighting type replacing their original types. (I wonder if anyone would find these final evolutions unironically handsome, though...)
My embarrassment, though, is how I unironically like those middle evolutions. I mean, though they are just lead-ups to a punchline, your designs of them are actually very strong. All three of them, logically, iterate from their original stages while integrating the Fighting type, albeit in their own ways:
• Grookey's evolution is subtle, yet noticeable, using weapons and having a more fighting-compatible stance and anatomy.
• Scorbunny's evolution is a rather obvious integration, being not only an obvious kickboxer but also takes the previous evolution's bandage-markings to good use. I think I see some King Kazma there, too.
• Sobble's evolution is surprising. While there is nothing that screams 'Fighting' at first, you get a feeling that his upright, humanesque posture and slightly buff anatomy hint at something. You eventually realise that he is supposed to be a part-fighting type.
All of these also have their own appeal: Grookey's evolution has a 'biological theory of evolution' theme, Scrobunny's evolution is reminiscent of King Kazma, and Sobble's evolution is just plain cool, what with his curled up spiked tail and his more prominent-facing mohawk.
In all, while your joke is fantastic and clearly communicated, I should also congratulate your impressive skills in character design. After all, you are so good; even your inconsequential joke designs have great appeal!
Honestly, I actually think that Game Freak would benefit from your character-design skills!
