That piece of Alon's soul that he left behind in the alternate dimension became something else while he was away. Distraught, lonely, sad, and furious, this piece of Alon became an abomination, hellbent on reconnecting to the part of it that got away. Alon had to find a way to console this piece of him, to reconcile with this lost Fragment of his soul in order to master it and defeat it.
