A recent discovery still being studied, these strange dragons were created using the DNA from aquatic star dragons. They were never meant to be seen outside of Dragon Veil, but somehow were stolen and released into the wild over one hundred years after they were first bred; the currently existing dragons show signs of selective breeding after they were taken, as they have a few unique traits.

The tails are unspiked, and they have wider split lower jaws, used to scoop up water-dwelling prey while on the wing.

These dragons are smaller, roughly twelve feet in length with a sixteen foot wingspan; they are mostly tail in length and are fairly lightweight, and also seem to use the more narrow wings to help fit through gaps in trees. They always roost at night in large groups, and eggs are laid in a communal nest.
