I used to refer to these as a kind of 'paint sketch' but they've advanced so much that I think I'm happy to call them paintings, even if they're still a bit rough.
I haven't had the chance to check out much of
Lei-Lani 's stuff but I have read some of The Depths, the earlier pages are drawn by 
A_Blue_Deer who I've had the great pleasure of chatting to and it's always been a delight.
This was a commission from
felldewan who wanted to do some gift art, he has an otter character that sometimes gets mistaken for Lei-Lani's character, but not all otter girls are the same!
Still, owners of otter sona's gotta represent!
I hope Lei-Lani loves this~
