Salizar: “Father keeps asking me how you’re doing. Every time I talk to him, first five minutes: ‘How is Al today?’”
Chiro: “Haha! Do I need to set up a voice call with Inglesé Sr. sometime and talk to him myself? It’s not like it would put me out of my way.”
Salizar: “I’d appreciate it if you did. It would get him off my back about you for a while! Show some familial responsibility since Father practically adopted you.”
Chiro: “He’s not even my dad though! And you know well as anybody how busy we are over here! …Okay don’t give me that ‘older brother said so’ look, Salizar. I’ll make time.”
Just a brotherly moment between my pacifist werebat, Alvaro/Chiro, and the normally-dour vampire legal advisor to the Acheron Clan, Salizar. The vampire is an old Sicilian mafioso and doesn't open up to many outside of the werebat, whom he sees like a brother, after many years of messing with and picking on him same as others in the upper Council of the vampire clan.
