I know some of you, who have been following my Mouse Diaries, have expressed some curiousity, about the character of David. Because he originally comes from a high-tech, cybernetic universe, becoming stranded in a primarily magic ruled world, does present some problems. This story is one possible way of crossing that gap.

Poetigress put up the words "pilgrimage", I knew it was time this story was written down and posted. Keep in mind that this story is more of a work in progress, than usual, I may reword parts of it, as the rest of the story becomes more clear.

That's the thing about machines. They may last a long time, but they'll eventually break down.
I like the undiluted arrogance of the black Mystic. It suits that type of insanly powerful deity-like creature. With such people, no matter what you say, they'll hate you for being less than them.

I hadn't quite thought of Dave in those terms, when I was writing this, but that's a very good observation. When I originally wrote this, I had no idea I was going to need a break point, so I did the best I could. In Part 2, you'll hear from the other two figures as well. I'll look forward to your comments, when I post that, because I'd like to hear how you think the other two Mythics come across.
