Vadiks pride was known for hosting ceremonial weddings. The lion pride took weddings rather serious. When a lion and lioness were to be mates, the pride would holed a special ceremony. All the adult male and female mates would wear white flowers around their wrists and the lioness would wear flower necklaces. The mates who were being wedded, would also wear flower-crowns on their heads.

The male Cubs were required to wear white leaves around their heads and female Cubs had to wear white flower braids around their necks and ankles and flowers on the side of their heads. All the male Cubs stood on one side of the field and female Cubs on the other. Any of the Cubs who could sing were required to sing a song.

Vadik always oversaw the ceremony preparations and marries the mates. As the female mate walks down the field, the Cubs hum the song. She would then stand near the her male mate and Hasanis father would perform the ceremony.

After the ceremony is performed and the mates are married, they would have a dinner and talk amongst themselves. The lions had to wear the leaves and flowers for the entire day until the wedding was over.
