Okay, I could now start to elaborate on the lack of naturalistic (read: believable) depiction of details in furry art, but that seems to be kind of unnecessary considering the overwhelming majority of various cartooning styles which dominate furry art.
Did I ever tell you that I think that cartooning is something of a chronic disease which has taken over the graphic arts? Not that I don't enjoy it myself, I am just thinking that the reasons why cartooning was introduced (easily printable) are obsolete and yet it keeps on marginalizing other artistic styles...

Or maybe this is just a poor attempt to make something entirely boring into something less boring.
