Goriki was an SuperHuman Warrior Beast who was featured as the Monster of the Week on Episode 35 of the Great Mazinger Anime who was borrow to the Argos and Janus, and was among the many monsters from both the Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger series to have fought along side Boss Borot as an ally while the Comical Relief Mecha was under the control of the villains, the episode marks the introduction of Janus' Catlops corps into the show. He was a Humanoid Beast with the ability of flight, with a small head, which wore a green helmet with a chained spike maze on top. His torso was brown in color with dark brown arms and legs covered by light gray shield plates. He wore a single piece of Orange cloth and had a light yellow shoulder plates with spikes coming out of them, these where in fact the handles for two more blunt weapons, which were spike mazes and double bladed axes combine as one. His true face was in the abdomen, and was red surrounded by spiked purple hair (though the face, in a close up was also dark grey in color, though this may had been a production mistake). The True face had three eyes, though the one in the forehead had a pupil in it.

The Mikene Empire still lies in mourning for the death of the Great General of Darkness, the Emperor himself expressing his ire against Great Mazinger for having lost his most loyal and devoted Warrior. Argos takes control of the army and contacts Marquis Janus, who informs him that of the state of repairs given to Great. Janus introduces the Catlops Corps, who she will use in a new tactic to defeat Great...

The Catlops raid Borot hangar, knocks out the Gang. Mucha is forced to call Tetsuya, telling Shiro suffered an accident, he mounts his bike and rides to the school, when he is surprised by a falling boulder pushed by Janus, who unleashes Catlops onto him: a scuffled ensues with Tetsuya avoiding them and their missiles, but these later create an avalanche that traps and pushes him into a cliff. Left for dead, Janus moves to the next face, where one of her soldiers hijacks Borot, when Boss comes to his senses, he sees his Robot heading to the lab.

Once at the Fortress, Borot jumps onto the water blocking the Launch Tube of the Great Mazinger. (This scene is a bit funny, cause Borot's head makes a 180 spin looking at lab with an evil look in his face, like if this were the exorcist).

Boss shows up and warns Jun, the two try to claim Borot, but the Cat Pilot shoots at them. It is at this moment, Janus sends Goriki to attack the Fortress. It is stopped by the shield and the Beast tries to break it with its Maze. Jun launches Venus and tries to pull Borot, though it refuses to budge. Goriki breaks the shield and attacks, though Venus makes a stand against it. Tetsuya comes to his sense, he is inform of the situation, and rides back to the lab and takes off on the Brain Condor. They first consider destroying Borot but Goriki stops them by destroying the Lab's weapons.

Tetsuya fires missiles into the mouth cockpit, destroying the Catlops Pilot and releasing Borot from its control – Venus removes Borot and Great is launched and fights Goriki. The beast blocks of Great's attacks with its maze. Great unleashes the Great Sword and cuts the maze, this weapon flying and crashing into the Mikelos warship, causing internal damage forcing it to retreat. Goriki then tries his battle axes, but Great grabs it and throws it back, hitting it in the true face. Great Mazinger then disposes of the Beast with the Sword by slicing it in half. With the latest failure, the Emperor concludes that the time has come for a new Supreme Commander to lead his forces.

Now for the adorable hilarity of the finale: Boss berates Borot for what had unfolded, and deems him a traitor, hurting his feelings and Borot cries in shame. Jun and Tetsuya made him realize it wasn't his fault (and Borot breaks the act a bit, to just give a look, and continues crying). Boss is put into tears and forgives Borot, the two just hug each other in a heart warming scene of lovable Borot nonsense:D
