A cousin of the famous Moulin Rouge, but I'm told this one has an all male cast!
Full-background commission for
featuring his green fae character Absinthe (I wonder how many green faeries out there are named that hehe) who runs the Moulin Vert and it seems, also performs there. I'm sure whatever he's about to do will be sure to entertain. ;)
Tried the stamp trick again for the curtains, it turned out okay I think but I had to do a little bit of work to fill in some spots that the stamp didn't quite get. The one I use is pretty big (one of the large rubber ones with the wooden back) so I have a hard time getting the full piece covered in ink all at once, resulting in some dry areas by the time I actually press it to the paper. I think I may try to get some smaller stamps which will give me more control; otherwise I really love the final look and its a great way to get those super fancy damask patterns for walls and curtains in traditional media.
March commissions will be open Friday 3/8, I'll be announcing the theme soon!
