After getting a lot of advice from artists and going back to construction shapes, I’ve made a body I’m actually really happy with! Let me know what you guys think! This is the first piece I’ve made that doesn’t feel flat to me so I’m pretty happy with the character work!

Yeah but I know! I’ve been experimenting with what I can draw in this Stocky Bara style, but there aren’t a lot of models I can use that naturally have this build. As such, I decided I’d try altering some builds near what I’m looking for (basically large torso, short arms and legs) and going off model somewhat and making something new. I figure as long as I’m going off model and drawing a bara Pikachu I might as well use that cool Luchador costume from ORAS since it has a similar theme and damn the vagina! I can’t really draw women yet, but i’ll Definitely remake this as a bara female version when I can.
Also I decided to just nix the shirt of the costume since i’m Not great at drawing muscles beneath clothes (or clothes in general) so I just got rid of it!
