This started originally as practice for drawing torsos in general and progressed to a fake magazine cover, but there's a lot to unpack here.

A fake magazine cover featuring Ivan, who is a Mercenary by trade. Their world, or rather their country, has legalized the concept of being a Mercenary and that led to some uncomfortable truths about their world in general. The uncomfortable truth being that there was a hyper-advanced dead civilization that nudged his species into a path of evolution but they've mysteriously died off and things naturally took control after that civilization's sudden disappearance. A Mercenary expedition led to the discovery of an ancient "Uplifting Facility" and they're in a age of uncertainty as they find that their entire existence is owed to a dead race.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun doing this and sorry if I havent been posting doodles and shit, probably gonna dump the stuff I didnt finish for last month.
