A lot happened at Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum while I was in the hospital. This was one.
Both traction motors on ND&W 5332 have been disconnected, engine jacked up and placed on blocks, and traction motors slid put from underneath. We are currently trying to find someone to turn the wheels so they are within FRA standards(for you foreign furs that's Federal Railroad Administration, they make the rules for our nations railroads and since we operate on a shortline railroad we have to adhere by their guidlines). However, due to some reason I cant explain easily, we haven't found someone who will touch these. At this point, our restoration has come to a grinding halt. We've put a ton of work into this locomotive and I really would hate to see this issue keep it from being completed, especially since this is the first locomotive I've actually put work into with two other friends and several museum members
