After a night of almost no sleep, started doodling a bit on the same page the previous drawing was on, the did a full-on side sketch of Sketch. Looking back at the extremely old point of reference of him, this might work well as a reference sketch of him now. The previous image with only that combat-ready pose is put away in Scraps.

He is a paint dragon, a construct entirely composed of paint. This allows him to absorb paint to replenish or add to his supply (he does grow heavier with the more he stores, though he easily compresses excess paint to maintain his thinner form). However, as a major drawback, his is gravely weak against water and other fluids, liable to get washed away by them.

In terms of abilities, Sketch can stretch, bend and morph his body however he sees fit (although he does have his default form he always returns to). This can range from stretching limbs out for additional reach, softening his fur (or hardening it into sharp, defensive spike), altering parts of himself temporarily (such as turning an arm into a mallet, rather than a sweeping punch), or a complete change of shape (as a cartoonish example: an anvil).

With such a malleable form, he has a wide variety of skills in battle. A large amount of attacks either reference, or are inspired by other characters, such as the signature Spindash of Sonic the Hedgehog, using his arm as a literal Clawshot in reference to Link, etc. However, there are techniques unique to him; that being the Piston Kick, a rhythmic, rapid succession of kicks, much like a pair of pistons in rapid motion.

While Sketch can't tolerate water due to his high solubility, he can reliably wear his boots to wade in shallow bodies, no higher than the footwear. They are equipped with a lining of micro-thrusters on the soles, allowing Sketch to perform a number of options for mobility, such as speed-boosting dashes, quick stops, and even a mid-air jump or hover in the air. They've also been used in an offensive manner, using blasts of flames when using kicking attacks, for greater damage and knockback.
