The magic helps alter his out look, but he keeps his personality. The care free feeling of being a horse helps his human mind to relax and let him be himself, instead of the grumpy, troubled human mind he had been dealing with. Mr. Rose appears to be quite the sweet guy on the inside, now amplified by his horse form! :D
