One night a couple of weeks ago, when Pinweasel (my sister) and I were still sharing a room, one of those enormous, preposterously long-legged mosquito-type insects got into the bedroom. Pinweasel is TERRIFIED of them. Well, it swooped down at her, its long, hair-like legs dragging behind it in the most menacing fashion.
So she jumped on my head.
Once off of my head, she then proceeded to beat it with her Pikachu pillow. The end.

Actually, no. They feed on nector and they're larvae feed of plant roots and such. So they're entirely herbivores. Which is interesting, honestly. I knew they were harmless, but I'd always thought they ate the mosquitoes, cuz whenever I saw em around, I rarely if ever saw mosquitoes that were also in the area. Could very well be the ones I saw are actually dragonflies, even though they don't possess the indicative colour patterns. They're all brown, but I'm pretty sure they have four wings. I think at least, hard to tell when they're flying.
