"Far beneath the bone mountains of Kraggonak, there is the Cave of Ancient Tales. There have been many keepers over the epochs, and I am just one more. Here I dwell, carving epic tale after epic tale, of the thousand-thousand heroes that skalds tell me of above ground. Some of these stories, oddly enough, tell of the future. Many were before my time. But oddly enough, all carved by my own hand.

The caves stretch deep... too deep. I think I may have more readers in the dark than there are in the light. Though I cannot see them, I appreciate their visit and admiration of my work... at least I hope it's admiration.

The tale I carve now? The tale of Archibald's Crusade. One day I will tell you the tale, as will I with the carvings behind me."
