
The hockey world was shaken today at the passing of 'Terrible' Ted Lindsay, age 93.
He was the pioneering force behind the creation of the NHLPA(National Hockey League Players Association) and was named one of the NHL's top 100 players of all time.
His accomplishments during his career and after include:
4 Stanley Cup Championships
1 Art Ross Memorial Trophy
1 Memorial Cup Championship and the honour of having an award named after him, being given to the most outstanding player during an NHL season.
He is remembered by his family, friends and many generations of hockey players and fans alike. He will be dearly missed, and may he rest in everlasting peace.
